Choose Your Villa

Kudadoo has just 15 residences — all overwater, all with 44 sqm private infinity plunge pools. Designed by New York-based architect Yuji Yamazaki with Japanese-inspired curves and Tasmanian oak floors, the residences are arranged in a ring formation echoing the shape of a Maldivian atoll. Every residence includes a 54-inch Bang & Olufsen TV with surround sound, fully automated lighting, Netflix and Spotify access, handmade furniture, and 24-hour butler service. The two-bedroom residences are ideal for families travelling together or couples wanting the largest overwater living space in Lhaviyani Atoll.

Dining

1 Restaurant, Wine Cellar & Destination Dining

Kudadoo's dining is built around freedom, not fixed venues. The Retreat is the main overwater dining space where chefs present the day's fresh ingredients and guests choose what they want, when they want it — the 'unscripted dining' concept. A curated wine cellar houses 30+ varieties rated Wine Spectator 88+ alongside an international cheese room. Destination dining takes meals to the beach, a private sandbank, your residence, or aboard the private yacht Bella. Guests also have access to Hurawalhi's 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, a 5-minute speedboat ride away.

7.5
Very Good House Reef
Lux Atolls Reef Score · top 25% of Maldives resorts

Direct villa deck access · reef 3m from villas · complimentary equipment

Brain coral reef · reef sharks · manta rays · turtles · unlimited diving included

Kudadoo's house reef encircles the island with direct snorkeling access from overwater residence decks — the reef edge is just 3 metres from some villas. The reef is predominantly composed of brain corals, which have proven more resilient to temperature fluctuations and bleaching events than branching corals. Large schools of blue fusiliers, clownfish, moray eels, baby reef sharks, octopus, and turtles are regularly spotted. The real star is the channel between Kudadoo and sister island Hurawalhi — strong currents attract walls of reef sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, and pelagic fish. Lhaviyani Atoll is one of the Maldives' prime manta encounter zones, and the resident Manta Trust marine biologist at Hurawalhi leads conservation trips accessible to Kudadoo guests.
