House Reef & Underwater

Bathala's house reef is legendary — consistently rated among the best in the Maldives. Positioned on the outer edge of North Ari Atoll, the island's reef attracts pelagics rising from the deep channel. Reef sharks, turtles, eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse, and hundreds of tropical species are resident. The reef is accessible from shore and directly from Water Villa terraces, with healthy coral gardens in shallow water.
