House Reef & Underwater

Coco Bodu Hithi’s house reef is one of the standout features of the resort and one of the finest in North Malé Atoll. The reef encircles the island with five entry points, though the best snorkeling is between the water villas and Aqua restaurant. Since 2012, the marine biology team has individually identified over 180 hawksbill turtles using the unique pattern on each turtle’s head — guests regularly swim alongside these gentle residents. Reef sharks patrol the deeper edges, and seasonal manta rays visit Bodu Hithi Thila, a cleaning station just 15 minutes from the resort.
