Dining Inclusions

Six Senses Kanuhura runs BB, HB, and FB — there is no true all-inclusive option. Half board is the sweet spot for most guests, covering breakfast and dinner at The Market. Full board adds lunch for a reasonable supplement.

Your Days on the Island

Kanuhura benefits from the rich Lhaviyani Atoll — over 40 dive sites, a famous turtle aggregation point, and two private islands for excursions. The Six Senses wellness programme adds biohacking, Alchemy Bar, and yoga to the usual water-sports lineup.

Family-Friendly Features

Six Senses Kanuhura is one of the most thoughtfully family-designed resorts in the Maldives. The Grow With Six Senses kids club runs daily programmes for ages 3-11 including treasure hunts, cooking classes, and nature walks. Teenagers get their own Island Hideout with music and games. The PADI Bubblemaker programme introduces children aged 8+ to scuba diving, while the shallow lagoon is ideal for younger swimmers. Three private islands provide endless exploration.

House Reef & Underwater

There is no walk-in house reef at Kanuhura — the lagoon is shallow and sandy, ideal for wading but not reef snorkeling. However, the Lhaviyani Atoll compensates handsomely with over 40 dive sites accessible by short boat ride, including the famous Turtle Airport, one of the top five turtle sites in the Maldives.

Transfer from Malé

Kanuhura is a 40-minute seaplane from Male — a comfortable mid-range transfer by Maldives standards. The Lhaviyani Atoll sits 150 km north, far enough for real seclusion but not so remote that logistics become complicated.

Six Senses Kanuhura works best when you lean into what it does differently: three islands, genuine Six Senses wellness, a PADI Eco Center with world-class turtle encounters, and a dining programme built around sustainability and an organic garden. The lack of a walk-in house reef is a real drawback for snorkelers, but the Lhaviyani Atoll's dive sites more than compensate if you're willing to take boat trips.
