Cocoon offers two all-inclusive tiers. The standard All-Inclusive covers three buffet meals, house drinks, and complimentary snorkelling gear and kayaks. For those wanting the full experience, the XXL All-Inclusive adds premium wines, unlimited cocktails, daily minibar replenishment, excursions, and VIP seaplane lounge access. A la carte restaurants (Manta and Japanese Garden) offer a 20% discount for All-Inclusive guests.

Your Days on the Island

Cocoon sits in one of the Maldives' richest diving atolls — 50 sites within reach including famous shipwrecks and manta points. On the island, LAGO-designed spaces house a dive centre, water sports hub, kids club, and The Cube Spa. Evening entertainment runs nightly with live bands, DJs, and cultural shows. A resort app lets guests book everything from diving lessons to room service with a tap.

House Reef & Underwater

Cocoon's house reef is not directly accessible from shore — it requires a short 7-minute boat ride with two daily trips offered. However, the waters immediately around the island and under the overwater villas harbour plenty of marine life including baby sharks, rays, lionfish, and colourful reef fish. The real draw is the atoll itself — Lhaviyani is one of the Maldives' premier dive destinations with 50 sites featuring manta rays, grey reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, turtles, and two famous shipwrecks. Complimentary snorkelling gear is provided for the duration of your stay.

Transfer from Malé

Cocoon Maldives is located 120 km northwest of Velana International Airport on Ookolhufinolhu island in southeastern Lhaviyani Atoll. The 30-minute seaplane flight operates during daylight hours only (6:00 AM–3:30 PM), so guests arriving on late evening flights will need an overnight stay in Male. The seaplane journey offers spectacular aerial views of the atolls en route.

Who This Resort is For

Cocoon is a compelling package — Italian LAGO interiors at a price point that undercuts most five-star competitors, in one of the Maldives' best diving atolls. Three restaurants and two bars offer real variety, and the 2024 renovation freshened the resort with new pool suites and slides. The house reef needs a boat trip, but 50 surrounding dive sites more than compensate.
