Your Days on the Island

Ayada combines world-class marine access with Turkish-influenced wellness. The 360-degree house reef puts snorkeling at your doorstep, Dive Kingdom runs PADI courses across 40+ sites, and five surf breaks are accessible directly from the resort. On land, the 3,500 sqm AySpa with its Turkish hammam is the showpiece, alongside tennis courts, a football pitch, and a professional kids club. The remote Gaafu Dhaalu location means uncrowded dive sites and pristine underwater conditions.

Family-Friendly Features

Zuzuu Kids Club entertains ages 4–12 while parents enjoy the Turkish-inspired Ayspa or snorkel the house reef that wraps 360 degrees around the island. The shallow lagoon areas are ideal for young swimmers, and two-bedroom ocean pavilions give families generous living space with private pool access.

House Reef & Underwater

Ayada has one of the finest house reefs in the Maldives — a 360-degree reef that encircles the entire island, accessible from shore at virtually any point. The coral has recovered remarkably from the 2015-17 bleaching event and is now described as among the healthiest in the country. Snorkelers encounter blacktip reef sharks, hawksbill and green sea turtles, eagle rays, dolphins, and dense schools of tropical reef fish. The remote Gaafu Dhaalu location means uncrowded underwater conditions and pristine visibility.

Transfer from Malé

Ayada is in the remote Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll — the deep south of the Maldives. The transfer involves a 55-minute domestic flight from Velana International Airport to Kaadedhdhoo Airport, followed by a 45-minute speedboat ride. The journey is long but rewards you with one of the most uncrowded and pristine locations in the country. A minimum 5-night stay is recommended to justify the transfer.
