Dining Inclusions

Four meal plan tiers, from bed-and-breakfast through to the Simply COMO All-Inclusive launched in February 2026. The AI covers all three venues plus house wines, spirits, and cocktails. Half Board and Full Board include Madi only; Tai requires AI or a supplement.

Thaa Atoll is the draw — the only resort here means virgin dive sites, uncrowded manta cleaning stations, and year-round surf breaks with Tropicsurf coaching. On land, COMO Shambhala offers one of the Maldives' most respected wellness programmes, and the house reef rivals the best in the country.

Family-Friendly Features

Play by COMO blends marine education with island adventure: crab races, reef outings with a marine biologist, PS5 sessions, and castaway picnics on uninhabited islands. The shallow lagoon makes it a natural fit for young snorkelers. Children under 6 eat free, and the multi-bedroom COMO Residence sleeps up to ten. The only limitation is scale — 65 villas means a small peer group for kids.

House Reef & Underwater

One of the strongest house reefs in the Maldives, made exceptional by Thaa Atoll's isolation. Shore entry is easy, the drop-off is close, and resident turtles, reef sharks, and eagle rays are present year-round. The wider atoll delivers manta rays (Dec–Apr), whale sharks (Nov–Apr), and hammerhead sharks (Jan–Mar) — all within boat range of a single resort. No other property shares these sites.

Transfer from Malé

Sixty minutes by seaplane from Velana International Airport to one of the Maldives' most remote atolls. The flight crosses Dhaalu and Thaa with stunning aerial views. Return transfer is approximately USD 950 per person. The remoteness is the point: you are the only resort guests in the atoll.

COMO Maalifushi's proposition is geographic exclusivity. The sole resort in Thaa Atoll, it has access to marine life no other property can match — mantas, whale sharks, and hammerheads within boat range, all to yourself. COMO Shambhala wellness, Tropicsurf coaching, and Tai's overwater Japanese dining round out a resort that rewards the 60-minute seaplane. Three restaurants and a quiet bar are enough for most, but not for those wanting dine-around variety.
