A resort built around the ocean — the dive centre was the first PADI Eco Centre in the Maldives, and the Coral Lines restoration project pioneered reef rehabilitation. Meera Spa's six overwater treatment rooms have glass floors for watching marine life during your massage.

Gili Lankanfushi welcomes children of all ages, with kids under 12 staying free including complimentary half board. There is no formal kids club, but daily scheduled activities include treasure hunts, sandcastle contests, and garden visits. Gili Lankanfushi sits in one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives — pristine for swimming but the reef edge requires a 10-15 minute swim from shore. Guided boat trips reach the house reef in minutes, and world-class sites like HP Reef and Banana Reef are just 10 minutes away. The Coral Lines project has rehabilitated extensive reef sections.
