Transfer from Malé

Domestic flight from Velana to Kooddoo Airport (55 minutes), then a short buggy ride — the resort shares the island with the airport, eliminating the usual speedboat-after-flight transfer. Return transfer is approximately USD 700 per person.

Mercure Kooddoo delivers a strong value proposition in the Maldives' deep south: genuine overwater-villa-with-pool experiences at prices well below the 5-star competition, paired with one of the richest marine environments in the atolls. The Ultra All-Inclusive removes supplement anxiety entirely. The main trade-off is the remote location — a 55-minute flight and USD 700 transfer — but for couples who want reef quality over convenience, it's a compelling choice.
