The house reef is modest — a legacy of the island's long history and proximity to Male. Sheraton Full Moon is the Maldives' reliable mid-luxury workhorse. Five decades of hospitality show in the polished service, and the $20 million renovation keeps the hardware competitive. The 15-minute transfer is unbeatable, seven restaurants prevent dining fatigue, and the coral restoration programme adds genuine substance. Rooms run smaller than luxury competitors, and the house reef won't win awards, but for families and Bonvoy loyalists wanting a proven, well-connected resort, it delivers.
