House Reef & Underwater

SO/ Maldives sits on a man-made island within Emboodhoo Lagoon, so the house reef is limited compared to natural Maldivian islands. That said, guests report baby reef sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, and nurse sharks in the lagoon — the calm, shallow waters make it accessible for beginners.
