All-Inclusive covers the Jahaz buffet plus one à la carte course at either Jing or Meeru, premium spirits and wines by the glass, a daily-stocked minibar, and two excursions per stay. It excludes the Kaika sushi bar, lobster, and the spa — the cellar's rarest pours sit outside it too.

Your Days on the Island

North Ari is one of the Maldives' great dive theatres — Maaya Thila sits within reach — and the PADI 5-Star TGI Dive Centre runs the water. On land, a tennis court, beach volleyball, a 24-hour gym, and the main pool keep the days full, while wine tastings in the cellar are the resort's signature indoor pursuit.

Family-Friendly Features

The Coconut Tribe kids club takes ages 4–11 with Fredi the manta ray as its mascot, running STEAM activities, crafts, treasure hunts and marine-discovery sessions, plus kids' diving from age 8. Glass-bottom boat trips and dolphin cruises get children onto the water, and family beach villas add a separate kids' room. The big island and long jetty make it better for confident young swimmers than toddlers.

House Reef & Underwater

Be honest about the house reef: it is the property's weak point. Marine life is present — green turtles, blacktip reef sharks, rays and anemonefish all turn up — but the coral is mediocre and entry is awkward over rocky breakwaters, so shore snorkelling is okay at best. The real marine life is on the boat excursions. That is where North Ari earns its reputation: the PADI 5-Star TGI Dive Centre runs trips to world-class sites like Maaya Thila, and whale sharks are a year-round excursion at South Ari. Pick this resort for the villas and the diving programme, not for stepping off your deck into great coral.

Transfer from Malé

The primary transfer is a scenic 25-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport with Trans Maldivian Airways. For late or night arrivals after 15:30, the resort's Funa speedboat makes the run in around 90 minutes. The return seaplane transfer is approximately USD 520 per person — confirm the exact figure at the time of booking.

Come for the villas, the cellar and the North Ari diving; if a great step-off reef is the priority, look elsewhere in the atoll.
