Fun Island's strongest card is its house reef — turtles, reef sharks, and seasonal manta rays are regularly spotted from shore. On land, the Araamu Spa and a handful of water sports fill the days. This is a quiet island, not an activity-packed mega resort.

House Reef & Underwater

Fun Island's house reef is a genuine strength for a 3-star resort. Shore entry leads to a healthy reef where green turtles, blacktip reef sharks, and colourful reef fish are reliably present. Manta rays visit seasonally between June and November. The reef was damaged by the 2004 tsunami but has recovered well, and the South Malé Atoll location puts good dive sites within easy boat range.
