The all-inclusive covers all standard restaurants and the pool bar; Teppan de Oishi and Olives & Vines run as supplements (Full Board and Premium AI guests receive a $40 dining credit at Olives & Vines).

Raa Atoll is one of the Maldives' most biodiverse regions — Hanifaru Bay's manta aggregation is under an hour away, the house reef hosts reef sharks and turtles, and the PADI dive centre runs daily boat dives to pristine sites. On land, a full-service spa, kids club, and racquet sports round out the programme.

Family-Friendly Features

Furaveri welcomes families with the complimentary Kiwi Kids Club (4–11), up to two under-15s eating free at the buffet, and two-bedroom residences with pools for larger groups. The shallow lagoon and guided family snorkeling sessions give younger children safe reef access, while Hanifaru Bay manta excursions and the PADI dive centre keep older children and teenagers engaged.

House Reef & Underwater

Furaveri's house reef is one of Raa Atoll's strongest — accessible from shore with a gentle slope dropping to 12 metres. Green turtles are near-daily visitors, blacktip reef sharks patrol the drop-off, and eagle rays cruise the sandy channels. The coral coverage has recovered well and supports dense populations of butterflyfish, angelfish, and parrotfish. The atoll's proximity to Hanifaru Bay adds a unique seasonal bonus: manta excursions run June through November, and whale sharks occasionally pass through the channel.

Transfer from Malé

A 45-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport across the Maldives archipelago to Raa Atoll. The flight offers spectacular aerial views of the atolls below. Transfer cost is approximately USD 485 per person return, inclusive of domestic airport taxes and GST.

The independent Maldivian ownership means a more authentic island feel than the international chain neighbours, and the 2020 refresh keeps the product current.
