Pan-Asian
The Pan-Asian specialty, opened in 2022 in place of the resort's former vegetarian outlet, and the only venue here with a published menu. Wok-tossed plates, aromatic broths, a daily chef's kimchi and a steamer section of handmade dim sum — shimeji and shiitake, edamame, and prawn hargow — arrive as platters to share.

Sunset Bar
A standalone bar built on stilts in the shallow lagoon off the western end of Sangeli, reached along its own jetty — bean bags scattered across the deck, a traditional wooden swing, and nothing between you and the sunset. Its Serenity Plan list is shorter than the other bars: a cocktail and a mocktail of the day, plus beers, wines and soft drinks.

The bar on the adults-only island, beside its own pool and looking straight out to open ocean. Sangeli's reef is a lagoon system rather than a channel wall: the shallow water between the two islands and under the arc of water villas holds small reef species year-round, and the outer reefs pick up the bigger traffic. Guests consistently log hawksbill and green turtles, blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, octopus and moray eels, with the calmest entry off the beach by the main pool and noticeably more current out by the water villas. Coral is still recovering from earlier bleaching, and the Muraka Center runs a nursery you can adopt a fragment from and watch get planted.

OBLU SELECT Sangeli is the two-island trick done properly: families get the main island with the buffet, the kids club and a shallow beach, and couples get One Banyan across the boardwalk — adults-only by day, with the spa, the pool bar and both specialty restaurants on it. One Serenity Plan rate covers dining, premium pours, the minibar, snorkel gear and a sliding scale of spa treatments. Worth knowing: diving and motorised watersports cost extra, and the reef is a recovering lagoon, not a shark highway.
