Dining Inclusions

Cheval Blanc runs on bed-and-breakfast with a strong à-la-carte culture rather than a packaged all-inclusive. Half- and full-board dine-around upgrades cover The White, Deelani and Diptyque; Le 1947 carries a separate supplement. The 24/7 Carte Blanche service delivers bespoke private dining anywhere — in-villa, on the beach or on a sandbank.

Your Days on the Island

Beyond the design and dining, Randheli runs a 5-Star PADI dive centre, the Maldives' only surf simulator, US Open-standard tennis and Paris-Masters-standard padel courts in a jungle setting, and a Guerlain spa on its own dedicated island. The house reef is modest, so the diving and snorkelling lean on boat trips to richer nearby Noonu sites, with manta encounters a highlight.

Family-Friendly Features

Le Carrousel is a 500 sqm kids' kingdom — trampoline, net tree, climbing wall, a shallow pool with a water slide and an interactive screen where children create their own digital fish — complimentary from age 3. The maison goes further with made-to-measure kids' menus, baby purées and a dedicated children's room at its private Malé seaplane lounge, so the journey itself is part of the holiday.

House Reef & Underwater

Randheli's islands sit inside a large Noonu lagoon ringed by reef, and manta rays and colourful species pass through. Be realistic about the immediate house reef, though — several guests describe it as modest and partly recovering, so the resort leans on its 5-Star PADI dive centre and short boat trips to the richer reefs and manta cleaning stations nearby. Snorkelling directly off some villas is possible, and the dive team holds a Green Star eco-accreditation.

Transfer from Malé

Cheval Blanc Randheli is reached only by seaplane — about 40 minutes from Velana International Airport across Noonu Atoll. The maison flies its own branded seaplane and keeps a private Cheval Blanc lounge, with a dedicated children's room, at Malé.

Who This Resort is For

Cheval Blanc Randheli is LVMH's idea of a Maldives maison: art-filled Jean-Michel Gathy lofts, a Guerlain spa on its own island, and a dining brigade crowned by the eleven-course Le 1947 and a Wine Museum. Service and polish are close to faultless, and three Michelin Keys back it up. The honest caveats are the modest house reef — the diving leans on boat trips — and the price, which sits at the very top of the market. For travellers who treat a holiday as couture, little else compares.
