Tapasake — Menu & Prices
Tapasake is One&Only Reethi Rah's over-water Japanese restaurant, its name a fusion of Spanish "tapas" and Japanese "sake" that signals a sharing-plate concept built around premium sushi and sashimi, teppanyaki, robata grilling and small plates with Mediterranean accents. The sprawling complex by Jean-Michel Gathy is among the largest overwater dining spaces in the Maldives, with a see-through wine cellar and glass-floor panels over the reef. The kitchen, associated with a Michelin-starred chef, leans on Maldivian and sustainability-certified catch alongside imported luxuries like otoro, king crab and A5 Wagyu. Expect to graze widely rather than order a single main.

- A la carte is built for sharing: small plates and sushi run roughly $15–$75, while signature mains and Wagyu cuts reach $98–$162 and caviar tops out at $499 for 30g.
- A 10% service charge and applicable GST are added to all prices, which are quoted in US Dollars.
- The seven-course Omakase tasting menu is $235 per person and served as a private dining experience; book ahead.
- Green-marked dishes are sustainability-certified, and several fish (yellowfin tuna, reef fish, lobster) are Maldivian catch landed locally.
