Ritz-Carlton Fari Islands earns its Forbes Five-Star four years running because nothing here is half-done — the Kerry Hill architecture is the most distinctive new-build in the Maldives, the Aris Meeha butlers respond in minutes, and Summer Pavilion's Cantonese tasting menu is genuinely destination-quality. The trade-off is honest: the reef is average and the property is more polished hotel than barefoot retreat. If you value architectural design, predictable service, and Marriott Bonvoy value at the very top end, this is the strongest candidate in North Malé.
