Zen — Menu
Six Senses Laamu · Over-water, intimate · a sushi counter with a sunset view · daily omakase
Zen is Laamu's over-water Japanese room — an intimate upstairs space with an open sushi counter (recently extended for sunset views) and a handful of tables. It runs a daily-changing à la carte and sushi list plus premium omakase ("trust the chef") tasting menus, built on the day's local catch, inspected each afternoon.

Know before you book
- Over-water and intimate — a sushi counter plus a few tables; the recently-extended counter has the sunset view.
- The format is two seven-course omakase tastings (chefs Marlon and Dilshan); the catch is inspected each afternoon, so the menu is never the same twice.
- Reviewers consistently single out the fresh-grated real wasabi and the handline-caught reef fish.
- Covered by the US$135/adult/day dine-around credit for board guests; reservations needed. For teppanyaki rather than sushi, the adults-only Kaji counter is the sister venue.
